The Hon Chris Minns MP, Leader of the Opposition and Member for Kogarah
Chris was born and raised in the St George area. He previously worked in politics, the charity sector and briefly as a retained firefighter while completing his studies.
Chris joined the Labor Party in 1998 when he was 18 years old and was elected as the Member for Kogarah in 2015.
Chris has a BA from the University of New England and a Masters’ Degree from Princeton University in the United States where he won a full scholarship to complete his studies.
