Join Ric Deverell, Chief Economist and Head of Net Zero
at Macquarie Group, for an intimate boardroom roundtable where he will
provide an in-depth briefing on the national and global economic outlook for
2026. Ric will explore expected policy developments, key macroeconomic trends,
and the strategic risks and opportunities likely to shape business performance
in the year ahead.
As businesses navigate another year marked by sluggish
productivity growth, persistent inflation uncertainty, a volatile Australian
dollar, and shifting global demand—particularly from China and the
US—Australian leaders face critical decisions in an increasingly complex
environment. Added to this are evolving geopolitical tensions and the ripple
effects of new trade policies and tariff frameworks.
